I'm living in a soccer world!

My youngest brother, Tyler has been staying with us for part of his summer. He came to play on Thomas' men's soccer league. Since he has been here everything has been about soccer! They have games twice a week, practice on Saturdays and there always seems to be a game on TV. On top of all that we had to find time to go to a Railhawks game (our local soccer team). 

She loved the mascot!

These older kids were bouncing a ball around and she got right in the middle of their game. They would let her hold the ball and then she would run away with it!

Sprinkler Fun

We decided to try out the sprinklers with Riley. At first she was unsure about the water but then she went all in! The water would hit her in the face and she would make a "bitter" face but not move out of the way so it would hit her again and again. It was a hoot to watch!

13 Months Old

This picture sums up my 13-month old ham of a daughter! She blows kisses, signs "please", and says wawa, TyTy, hot, uck, and nana.

Water Baby

Now that summer is in full swing and the weather is HOT we have been spending lots of time in the water. Riley really enjoys the water but after awhile tends to want to just walk around the pool. She has fun and when we get too hot we can jump in the water to cool off. Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.

Celebration Weekend

We had a lots to celebrate this weekend. On Saturday we had a cook-out with our church to celebrate summer. We played corn hole, ate yummy summer food, and had a boy vs. girls booce ball championship. It was a close race but the girls came up short. They had a great showing considering most of them we rookies at the game! On Sunday we had a birthday party to attend for one of our neighbor's son and it was my 27th birthday!

Visit with the Lucketts

Our friends Justin, Betsy, and their daughter Salem, who is two, came to visit us from Winston-Salem. Riley & Salem's birthdays are only a day apart so we got to celebrate the girls' birthdays together. We spent most of the day talking & catching up but we did find time to go to the pool and let the girls play outside. This was the first time we have seen them since Riley has started walking so Salem and her were able to really play together. We topped off the day with dinner at Pei Wei. I am thankful for good friends like them!!
